Claire - CEO
Claire is WorkPlace HR’s passionate and steadfast CEO. Claire’s firm belief is that HR services can be both commercial and bespoke, which forms the back bone of our organisation. Claire brings with her many years of supporting businesses with her hands on and practical approach – she is able to advise on a full range of HR issues as well as operational and strategic planning. She has worked with multiple organisations within numerous fields, both corporate and charity, from start-ups, to subsidiaries, to flagship companies and household names.
When Claire isn't on-site with clients delivering HR advice and solutions, she can be found visiting new and potential clients.
Rachael - HR & Employment Law Manager
Rachael joined us in 2011, after having worked within a HR & Training role in retail for three years. She originally started her journey with us as an HR Administrator, and we are hugely proud that she has progressed internally, gained her CIPD Level 5 Employment Law qualification, and now oversees our HR & Employment Law team.
Rachael provides operational, practical, commercially sound HR advice and support to a range of our clients across the UK and she also works closely with our American and Canadian clients on how best to operate their business from within the UK. Rachael supports some of our larger, long standing clients with a number of issues providing bespoke support with Early Conciliation right through to Tribunal and litigation preparation when situations have occurred and superseded the advice available. She prides herself on relationship building and taking the time to understand the individual needs of the organisation; this is often through working on-site with clients when necessary. Rachael also provides additional HR administration support including employee contracts, company handbooks, changes to terms and conditions of employment and payroll, and delivers bespoke HR training to line managers and supervisors. Additionally, Rachael is integral to the growth of our internal team.
Mark - Technical & Marketing Manager
Mark is a highly regarded and extremely successful Technical & Marketing professional. Detail driven by nature, his technical capability and knowledge of media platforms is exceptional.
Mark is accountable for the development, implementation, tracking and optimisation of our marketing campaigns across all digital channels.
Highly motivated and focused on building strong relationships, Mark is also responsible for developing successful marketing research, outbound communications programs, brand development, website management, and collateral materials that lead WorkPlace HR’s marketing strategies.
Hannah - Senior HR & Employment Law Advisor
Hannah joined the WorkPlace HR team in 2020 and had been working within an HR environment since 2014 following the completion of her Law with Business degree. She brings with her, experience gained within the telecommunications, travel and educational sectors, of which is valued across our diverse client base.
Throughout her career Hannah has gained a vast amount of experience within Recruitment handling both high volume and senior level appointments, Training and Development creating bespoke management training and development programmes, and Employee Relations. Process driven, she has managed both small and large scale redundancy and TUPE projects, both within the UK and Europe, and always seeks to maximise the potential of a business through detailed listening and careful planning, in order to find the right solution for the business.
Hannah prides herself on her ability to write effective, tailored communications to support all clients with both their day-to-day HR queries and key projects. She is highly motivated with a pragmatic, solution-driven approach when supporting our clients and our internal HR & Employment Law Team.
Hannah has completed her Level 5 CIPD Diploma in Human Resource Management and, due to her keen interest in Employment Law, is looking to study Level 7 in the future.
Connie - HR & Employment Law Advisor
Connie joined WorkPlace HR in 2020 and has worked within HR since 2015. She has experience of working in the automotive industry, further, higher and private education sectors, and recruitment. Due to Connie’s exposure within these sectors she is experienced in working within highly regulated environments such as FCA, ISI and Ofsted.
Connie prides herself on her ability to build relationships and trust with her clients. She always gets a clear understanding of how the client’s individual business works so she can support them in the most effective way for every situation. Connie is able to support with Employee Relations, Training and Development, Recruitment and all aspects of HR Administration. Connie has also managed projects of varying sizes, which includes Company reorganisations, dismissals, implementation of both new and updated processes and procedures, and introducing and training on various areas of HR, such as HR systems.
Connie is currently studying an Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource Management.
Leah - HR Administrator / Advisor
Leah has been working in HR Administration since 2013 and joined us in May 2017 as an HR Administrator looking to progress in her HR career. She has experience of working in the Private Care Industry, where she worked in both Recruitment and Learning & Development where Leah produced a bespoke training matrix for her previous employer. She has completed her Level 3 CIPD certificate in HR Practice and is looking to study Level 5 in the near future.
Since working at WorkPlace HR, Leah is providing seamless support to a number of our larger clients, integrating herself into their wider teams. Leah has progressed in her HR career and is now also providing Advisory support to our clients.
Niki - HR Projects Administrator
Niki completed her CIPD Foundation level in Human Resource Practice in 2017 and joined WorkPlace HR in 2018. Niki initially worked on creating our GDPR compliance project as well as supporting clients with HR systems, GDPR, HR administration and creating bespoke HR processes and procedures when onboarding our clients.
Niki has a background in providing customer focused administration and support, within the publishing, education and the charity sectors which provides a strong and communicative knowledge base for some of the clients that Niki supports on a daily basis.
As of 2020 Niki has been leading HR Projects within WorkPlace HR, with a heavy focus on GDPR and Data compliance, and maintains our clients’ employee records on a daily basis to ensure that best practice and due diligence is followed.
